Attorney at Law
I am a long-time North Texas native. I grew up in Howe, just south of Sherman, and after college, I worked at a great company for 11 years before becoming a lawyer. I decided to change careers and practice law to be more connected to the community and to help and advise people who need help and advice.
I have been married to my wife, Kim, for over 20 years and together we have two great daughters, Lilly and Grace, along with a hard-headed, but hilarious son, Gabe, who all attend Melissa I.S.D. schools. We are like characters in a comedy. We laugh at each other everyday, as much as we can...probably too much. We love our animals, and we enjoy the outdoors.
I feel that McKinney is the perfect place to have a Criminal Defense Law practice. It is close to home, it has a tight-knit legal community, it is the county seat, and the growth in Collin County is unbelievable. Above all else, McKinney is full of great people, leaders, professionals, and businesses. I am proud to be part of this community and I look forward to serving it now and in the future.
"Of counsel" is used to describe a "close, personal, continuous, and regular relationship" between the firm and counsel lawyer." (Formal Opinion 90-357, May 10, 1990)
Tony has been in practice for about 30 years and has had an impressive career. He teaches other lawyers trial skills throughout Texas. He is an outstanding Criminal Defense and DWI attorney. I still learn something from Tony everyday. He is a great mentor and friend. I am always grateful for any input he has, or any direction he points me in....it's always right.
Tony and I have worked closely together for several years now. There are many cases that we work on together simply because it is easier to do so, and we have fun doing it. Two heads are always better than one. When we have differing opinions about a case is usually when we find out the most about the issues to help our client.
Legal Assistant / Office Manager
Debbie is awesome! I cannot imagine anyone knowing their job better than Debbie. She is kind, courteous, and helpful, and does everything possible to keep our clients happy, and our practice running smoothly. She is always "on-the-ball" and keeps us moving in the most efficient way possible.
